The world of insane racing hypercars will tremble again on Monday, February 22, when Gordon Murray Automotive unwraps its extreme racer named the T.50s. Here’s what it looks like.
In case you missed it, the car comes based on the road-legal model known as the T.50, which is in itself quite a formidable beast. In addition to active aero wings, it flaunts an actual fan rotating at 7,000 RPM to ensure the car body stays squeezed to the ground as tightly as possible. The whole setup results in twice the downforce amount exerted by the more traditional arrangements.
For its part, the impending T50.s model is even lighter and more powerful. It retains the three-seater layout, but gets stripped clean of all the unnecessary equipment. A six-speed transmission with paddle shifters hits the rear wheels with 720 PS (710 hp / 529 kW).
