This crazy plane-to-car conversion is street-legal, costs $5M

A video has recently been uploaded on YouTube featuring an improvised limousine that the company called Jetsetter built from a private business jet. The car is actually road-going and costs U.S. $5,000,000.

At 12.8 meters (42 feet) long, 3.5 m (11.5 ft.) tall and 2.4 m (7.9 ft.) wide, it can comfortably accommodate up to nine passengers. The main interior feature comes in the form of a high-end sound system with several subwoofers and satellites both inside and outside the limo. The floor and ceiling are lit with LEDs.

The unlikely plane car weighs in at 5.5 metric tons (that’s around 12,125 lbs) and boasts 21-inch custom wheels, purpose-built suspension and a V8 engine with undisclosed specs. Its top going speed is limited to 160 km/h (99 mph).

Jetsetter has spent 12 years working on the conversion, but the company is willing to build more limousines like this if it receives more orders.
