Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina has debuted its all-electric hypercar Battista at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show opened for the media today. The vehicle comes equipped with four engines jointly producing 1,900 horsepower (1,417 kilowatts).
According to the manufacturer, the Pininfarina Battista is the strongest road-going vehicle an Italian manufacturer has ever built. Armed with a 1,900-hp powertrain, it needs less than two seconds to bolt from a standstill to 100 km/h. Its top going speed reportedly exceeds 400 km/h (250 mph), and it comes with a battery set sufficient for 450 kilometers (280 miles) of uninterrupted driving.
The hypercar boasts certain design features found in a number of other Pininfarina projects, such as the Sintesi, Ferrari 512S, and Cisitalia 202.
The cabin houses a digital dashboard, two analog controllers, and two side screens for displaying useful real-time information.
The Battista series will be limited to 50 units in Europe, each priced between U.S. $2,000,000 and $2,500,000. Orders will be processed starting next year.
