After a series of intriguing
teasers, the British company officially unveiled its new sports car, under the
previously-named Griffith.
Serial coupe is built on a
new iStream technology based on a chassis made of carbon and steel, which
provides a special rigidity of the body. The weight of the sports car is 1250
kilograms. Dimensions TVR Griffith following: length - 4314 mm, width - 1850 mm
and height 1239 mm.
Under the hood of a
high-performance novelty, Cosworth refines a 5.0-liter V8 engine from the Ford
Mustang, generating 506 horsepower. The transmission is a six-speed
"mechanic" from Termec. Drive - rear.
With this engine, the TVR
Griffith coupe accelerates from zero to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds, and
its top speed is 322 km / h.
In the arsenal of new items
electric power steering, adjustable shock absorbers, ventilated brake discs, as
well as 19-inch wheels in the front and 20-inch rear.
"Welcome" TVR
Griffith party was called Launch Edition and will be released in a limited
edition of 500 copies. The cost of a sports car is about 90,000 pounds (98,500
euros). The first buyers will get their cars in 2019.
