A weird electric tri-wheeler RV is on sale in China

We are all used to motorhomes being exceptionally large vehicles for obvious reasons, but this Everbright RV – which is currently up for grabs in China – breaks the mold in many ways.

At mere 3,840 mm (150 inches) long and 1,510 mm (59 inches) tall, the three-wheeled electric campervan houses everything a couple needs for a basic living, including a folding bed, a dining area and a number of storage compartments.

Powering the ride is a small electric motor rated at 3.5 kW (4.75 hp) hooked onto a 7.2-kWh battery. The top speed does not exceed 40 kilometers per hour (24.8 mph), but on a brighter side, you have around 400 kilometers (248 miles, NEDC-rated) of range until charging becomes necessary again.

Finally but not unimpressively, the RV comes in at just $4,800 – a steal for its vehicle class. Having said that, importing it into the United States would set you back $2,500 for the transportation alone.
