ATS Automobili, a niche car manufacturer headquartered in Italy, has unveiled its newest racing supercar called the RR Turbo. The novelty complies with the FIA standards and costs €110,000.
The vehicle comes based on a three-dimensional framework made of chrome-molybdenum steel, which is known for its high heat and corrosion resistance properties. For best rigidity and safety, the tubular parts are welded to form a central tub-core.
Powering the RR Turbo is a 2.0-liter turbocharged Honda Civic Type R engine with a plethora of enhancements, including a Garrett turbocharger, a better ECU, new cylinder heads, and forged pistons. As a result, the engine delivers 600 hp (447 kW) and 630 Nm (465 pound-feet) of torque through a six-speed sequential transmission to the rear wheels.
First shipments will begin in the spring of 2020.
