The Aiways exhibition booth at the upcoming Geneva show will feature the U6ion – a coupe-shaped, purely electric SUV model catering to the tastes of the younger audiences.
The two sketches depict what looks like a fairly stylish utility vehicle with L-shaped headlights transitioning into air intakes. Responsible for the design is Ken Okuyama, Pininfarina’s ex-Chief Designer and one of the co-creators of the much-lauded Ferrari Enzo.
The tech is not being discussed at the moment, but chances are there that the SUV is a technical twin of the Aiways U5, which comes powered by a single electric motor rated at 190 hp (142 kW) and 315 Nm (232 lb-ft) of torque. A 65-kWh battery gives it 500 kilometers (310 miles) of driving range, according to the somewhat outdated NEDC measurement standard.
