The world of racing is not standing still. Manufacturers are looking for new ways to make the car easier and more powerful. So, the company Alpine opened the veil of secrecy over the new coupe A110 Cup. This car was developed specifically for racing in the Alpine Europa Cup 2018, in which 12 stages will be held.
Alpine A110 Cup equipped with a racing suspension with adjustable shock absorbers Öhlins, which allowed to further reduce the ground clearance by 40 millimeters. The best controllability of the car is provided by Brembo braking mechanisms, and for the safety of the driver there is a certified frame.
When looking at the salon at once it becomes clear that the Alpine A110 Cup is a true racing car. There are not many options and "chips", which are used to the owners of ordinary city cars. But there are ergonomic racing chairs and a special steering wheel, allowing the driver to control many of the working functions of the sports car.
Under the hood of the Alpine A110 Cup is comfortably located 1.8-liter "four" with supercharging. Plus, engineers have equipped the novelty with another air filter and a specialized exhaust system. All this allows the unit to produce 270 horsepower. Due to the wide use of modern materials, the car can "boast" a relatively low weight - only 1050 kilograms.
Price list for the Alpine A110 Cup starts from € 100,000.
