British automotive company Arrival appeared five years ago as a dedicated manufacturer of fully electric vans based on modular skateboard chassis and composite bodywork. The first factory won’t open until a couple of years later, but in the meantime, here is a beta prototype of the first production model.
The original Arrival Concept (see video) was a boxy van with its cab stretching ahead of the wheels. The new design introduces a slanted windshield and moves the driver’s seat to within the wheelbase.
The only officially announced parameter is the battery make and capacity. Arrival plans to use LG Chem elements in batteries rated between 44 and 130 kilowatt-hours total.
