German tuner ABT Sportsline took up the engine of the
flagship model and improved its performance.
Now the 5.2-liter V-shaped 10-cylinder engine Audi R8
instead of 540 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque generates all 610
"horses" and 560 Nm respectively. Thus, the efficiency of the unit
has increased to that of the Audi R8 Plus.
In ABT Sportsline they do not say what specific
measures were taken to refine the engine, except for optimizing engine
management and replacing the exhaust system with a new stainless steel that
added 20 horsepower. In addition, the sports car received height-adjustable
suspension springs and branded sports stabilizers.
The exterior of the Audi R8 V10 will complement a set
of exclusive forged black discs - ER-F by 19 inches or 20-inch GR. Also at the
client's choice, ABT will offer two types of body kit - Street and Race.
Updates will be available for both the Spyder model
and the coupe. The cost of tuning is not reported.
