The Chinese vehicle manufacturer Bisu has been around since 2016 and has gained a reputation of a cheap car provider thanks to its three existing models – T3, T5 and M3 – which one could call unassuming at best. The fourth family member announced today – the T7 – turned out to be an unexpected exception from the rule.
At over 4,800 mm (15¾ ft) long, the new coupe-SUV is rather bulky. Its front part stays true to the overall style of the brand: there are large headlamps, a grille with horizontal blades, and a bumper grid. It looks more solid with broader wheel arches, giant wheels and muscular-looking punched-out side panels.
The engine compartment of the Bisu T7 holds a 2.0-liter turbo engine with just under 200 hp / 150 kW. The car will be available with automatic and manual gear switching. Much more importantly, however, you will be able to get it four-wheel-driven – something like this is a rare sight on the Chinese automotive market, indeed.
The list of available options will include a digital dashboard, a heads-up display, an infotainment system commanding its own 12.3” touchscreen display, two-zone climate control, vented front seats, electronically-assisted parking brake, start/stop assist, a panorama roof, and much more.
Rumor has it that the new Bisu T7 will be priced at U.S. $20,000 and above, with the top trim level likely surpassing U.S. $25,000. Sales start in August.
