Startup automaker Canoo has used the Virtual Media Day event to showcase an unnamed concept pickup running on electricity. Not unexpectedly, the model utilizes the company’s signature skateboard chassis.
The truck is envisioned as a high-end EV with two powertrain variants to choose from, the stronger one rated at 608 PS (600 hp / 447 kW) and 746 Nm (550 lb-ft) of torque. The driving range is rather conservative at 322 km (200 miles).
You can expand the bed with the help of a slide-out section if needed, which even has a license plate mount and brake lights on it. There is also a folding table with power sockets and a multi-purpose storage compartment you can use as a safe.
The body kit includes plastic fender flares and side sills, as well as metal plates and towing eyes on both bumpers.
Prices and availability remain unannounced.
