French nice carmaker Arquus has revealed some new details about its upcoming armored military SUV named Scarabée, an electric scouting vehicle capable of sidling its way in and out of tight spots.
The reconnaissance car flaunts an armor-clad body and features special axle locks to be able to maneuver like a crab (hello, GMC Hummer EV!). Its optional electric engine enables low-noise driving and makes it hard to detect by enemy radars.
The car weighs in at around eight metric tons (17,600 lbs) and can carry the driver and up to three passengers. Arquus says it can be deployed from such planes as the A-400M Atlas or the C-130J Super Hercules.
