British McLaren company, as it promised earlier, presented a new sports car 720S Coupe, the successor of McLaren 650S at Geneva auto show.
The easy carbonic monocoque Monocage II became a coupe basis. Under the hood tere is 4-liter biturbo V8 with a power of 720 h.p. which works with seven-step robotic transmission. This power plant allows the car to gain 100 km/h in only 2,9 seconds, at the same time the maximum speed reaches a mark of 341 km/h.
The car also received adaptive suspender, which is automatically adjusted depending on a covering. The special Variable Drift mode allows to regulate the angle of skidding during a drift.
It also became known that the entire initial circulation, consisting of 400 copies of the new McLaren 720S Coupe, has already been sold. During this year, British will assemble 1,2 thousand sports cars, and then will increase the release to 1,5 thousand cars a year.
