The premiere of Dodge Durango SRT 2018 of the model year, which has become the company's fastest SUV by today, was held within opened Chicago showroom.
All-wheel drive Durango SRT is equipped with the petrol V8 HEMI motor with a working volume of 6,4 liters and with a generated power of 475 horsepowers. The maximum torque of the engine is 637 Nm. The power plant works together with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The car accelerates to first "hundred" in 4,4 seconds. Jeep will be able to tow loads weighing up to 3,9 tons.
It is noted, that the seven-seater novelty is equipped with fog lights, recustomized exhaust, changed suspender with increased ruggedness of springs and new Bilstein absorbers, and also with a system of active suppression of a sound. Bumper, grille and vented hood were also changed.
Dodge Durango SRT 2018 will be available for sale in American market by the end of this year.
