Donkervoort rolls out the D8 GTO-JD70 Bare Naked Carbon Edition

The Netherlands-made Donkervoort D8 GTO-JD70 is a sports car for ultimate purists, but customers who pay nearly €200,000 for it want at least some personal touches. This is what the company delivers now in the Bare Naked Carbon Edition.

In its standard guise, the vehicle comes turbocharged to 421 hp (314 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) with Tremec manual gearbox. It weighs in under 700 kg (1,550 lbs), sustains side loads exceeding 2g, and you have to pay extra if you want power-assisted steering.

As follows from its name, the special edition puts the racer into a 95% carbon fiber body. The premium for naked carbon amounts to €47,432. If you would rather have it painted, throw in another €5,445, and the company will finish it in any color you specify. For a 25% reduction in unsprung weight, consider also carbon wheels (€18,755).

Aside from the above, the roadster comes with the optional Hypercar Carbon Weave package (€5,929), which contains parts manufactured with a special fiber structure. You can even trim the center tunnel with CFP for €2,904.
