Dedicated to the festival of speed in Goodwood the
company made a car out of 267 300 plastic details.
Six persons have been working over the assembling of a
full-size copy of the supercar during 2000 hours. But the works are still going
on! The idea of McLaren is in that the model would be built only by participants
of the event. For this purpose, they will be given 12 700 boxes of Lego.
The basement for 720S will be a steel frame. The weight of the finished car
will amount to about 1.6 tons.
The plastic model will get wheels with tires Pirelli
PZero Corsa from the real car attributes.
It is to be recalled that the sports car McLaren 720S
came out in the showroom of Geneva in March of this year.
