Young company by the name of Pravaig Dynamics has debuted the Extinction Mk1, a not-for-sale electric vehicle meant for renting along with a chauffeur at luxury rental services in Delhi and Bangalore, India.
The Extinction Mk1 Concept is shaped like a coupe right now, but the company says the production car will be a luxury four-door sedan with higher ground clearance and better-trimmed interior.
A single electric motor rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) will take the saloon from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds and ultimately to 196 km/h (122 mph). A 96-kWh battery will replenish 80% of charge within 30 minutes and provide up to 504 km (313 miles) of uninterrupted driving.
The cabin is meant for four passengers, and the rear seats can be reclined for extra comfort. Air purification, a Devialet audio system, and second-row air vents and folding tables are all included in the base spec.
The car is expected to come out in 2021 in a run of 2,500 units. Rental prices remain to be announced.
