In early August, Loki Basecamp announced the development of a living module for pickup trucks with bed length between 183 and 240 cm (71.5 – 93.75 inches). Is also posted some interior images to complement the exterior renderings we have seen before.
Since this is an add-on, rather than a full-fledged motorhome, the inner space is as tightly organized as possible. There is a cassette-based WC, a shower cabin, a bed measuring 1.5x2 meters (roughly 5x6.5 feet), a kitchenette with a fridge, a sink and a stove, and a combined dining/working area with a table that can be moved along the right side.
Power comes from a lithium-ion battery pack rated at 600 Ampere-hours, which receives its charge from roof-mounted solar panels. Central heating and conditioning are miraculously also included, so the tiny module actually lends itself to all-season use.
Based on the company’s latest Instagram posts, the sales should start very soon.
