Loki Basecamp unveiled its Icarus camper concept on first teaser pics and followed up with more 3D renderings in September. Now, the camping module finally exists in a production-ready form – this is what it looks like.
The main selling point of the Icarus is its versatility. You can redesign the interior to suit your specific needs, some popular options including a large bed for two, storage boxes and niches, and a kitchen with a stove and a sink. A storeroom can accommodate a cartridge-based WC if necessary, and a mobile shower is an option, too.
Those dreaming about a home away from home may opt for a cozy living room and a climate management system designed for year-round use. Customers can order their Icarus pods in two sizes: for short pickup truck beds and for longer beds. Prices begin from $69,000.
