In California, was presented a new version of the
1000-strong prototype of the electric car Air. It's known only about the
differences in the appearance of the car. The body of the "fresh" Lucid
Air received a two-tone color in dark gray and silver tones.
At the moment there is no information on whether the
power unit of the electric vehicle has been modified. Recall that the
predecessor of the updated prototype has two modifications. The base, equipped
with an electric motor with a capacity of 400 horsepower and a power reserve of
380 kilometers, and a top engine, which is driven by two electric motors placed
on the front and rear axle. Their total capacity is 1000 horsepower.
Acceleration to 100 km / h the car makes in 2,5 seconds, and the maximum speed
reaches 380 km/h. The power reserve of such an Air, about 500 kilometers.
The company plans to build its own plant in Arizona
for the release of Lucid Air, where already in 2018 will produce the first 250
cars. To realize the project to live, it is necessary to invest about $ 700
million.
