You may have heard that W Motors is a Middle East-based car company that designed the region’s first supercar model called “Lykan Hypersport”. As it turns out, the company will attend the 2019 Auto Shanghai with an all-new self-driving vehicle called MUSE. The manufacturer claims the car will arrive as early as 2020.
The Muse is an all-electric vehicle developed in cooperation with the China-based ICONIQ Motor. UAE authorities, as well as such companies as Microsoft and Magna Steyr have provided the necessary funding for the project.
The car comes equipped with a SAE Level 4/5 self-drive tech, has an innovative interface and maintains connection to the cloud network for remote control and steering.
When MUSE hits production, those ordering it will be able to individualize its interior to suit their needs. The assembly will take place in a factory in Dubai which is still under construction. The first stage of the factory should be commissioned before the end of 2019.
