Car aficionado Zac Mihajlovic has come to the Top Marques show in Monaco with the Zacaria SC, a most unusual vehicle he has spent five years of his life on.
The supercar is essentially a Formula One vehicle fitted with wheel fenders and authorized for use on public roads. It sports an aluminum body built around an alloy-steel framework and weighs in at barely 850 kilograms (1,875 lbs).
Powering the one-off creation is a 6.3-liter Ferrari V12 engine rated above 700 hp (522 kW). An Albins CVT racing-grade transmission is used to send the torque to the wheels, and gear switching occurs with the help of a paddle shifter. Zac says you may order a manual transmission version, too; more of that below.
As far as features are concerned, the Zacaria SC boasts LED lights, AP Racing brakes, height-adjustable suspension with a lift kit, and a custom exhaust system that consists of two independent sections, enabling the driver to switch between ‘circuit’ and ‘street-legal’ modes of operation on the go.
Most interestingly, though, the man is already accepting pre-orders from those wanting a ride like this for themselves. Prices begin at £800,000.
