Man from Brazil builds a Lamborghini Aventador out of an old Fiat

Brazilian car mechanic Edimar Souza Goulart has turned an old and seedy Fiat hatchback into a Lamborghini Aventador wannabe. Being of possession of all the necessary skills, he had no trouble implementing the project all on his own.

He took a 16-year-old Fiat Uno he bought for U.S. $8,000 and devised a styling kit for it. The design and production took 12 months and nearly $3,000.

In the end, the vehicle has got a brand new body with a broader rear, massive bumpers with air vents, a large rear wing, and side skirts. It has also received a large Lamborghini logo with the word “Aventador” written next to it.

Goulart has never modified the interior or the engine of his car in any way. It still holds the same 1.1-liter engine with meager 58 hp (43 kW) and 87 Nm (64 lb·ft). It still accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in full 15 seconds and never crosses the 155 km/h (96 mph) mark.
