Photos showing the next generation of the all-electric racecar Formula-E have been posted online by Spark Racing Technologies, creators of the vehicle. It will premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2018 and participate in the Formula One 2018-2019.
Perhaps most notably, the car now has a new McLaren Applied Technologies battery set with twice the former capacity. What this means is that the pilot will be able to complete the entire competition without having to stop and swap cars mid-race like he used to.
Spark Racing Technologies is a company headed by Frederic Vasseur, ex-leader of the F1 Renault team. Is has been the official F1 all-electric racecar chassis producer since the first season of 2014.
