The Canada-based armored vehicle manufacturer INKAS has revealed Sentry MPV, an armor-clad minivan that looks like it could be used by spec ops in “hot” spots throughout the world.
The car is 5,766 mm (18.92 ft.) long, 2,489 mm (8.16 ft.) wide and 2,464 mm (8.08 ft.) tall. Its road clearance amounts to an impressive 500 mm (19.5”). It comes driven by a potent 6.7-liter turbo diesel engine rated just under 400 hp (295 kW) and 1,085 Nm (800 lb·ft) of torque. Coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, the engine accelerates the enormous MPV to a maximum of 140 km/h (87 mph).
The new Inkas Sentry MPV comes with an all-wheel drive, an off-road package, emergency trapdoors, nightvision, a 360-degree gun turret, a megaphone, a front-mounted scoop, mesh-reinforced bulletproof windows, a loud siren, and sturdy armor plates covering all of its principal units and components. Different modifications offer different seat layouts.
It only takes a brief glance at the exterior of the Inkas Sentry MPV to realize who it has been built for: special forces, border guards, law enforcement agencies and military departments. There is also a pickup truck version available.
The killer van will be exhibited at Canada's Defense and Security Trade Show on May 30-31, 2018.
