The Italian-based car tuning atelier Pininfarina famous for its expert coachbuilders has recently published the first teaser pics of its latest supercar project. The vehicle goes under the name of Pininfarina HK GT and is being developed with active participation on behalf of the HKG tuning team from Hong Kong.
Visitors to the Geneva Motor Show 2018 will be the first to see the new car in its whole glory. Based on the photos, the Pininfarina HK GT is a four-door sedan with gull-wing doors. Industry-savvy people speculate that it might borrow many of its technological aspects from the parent model – the HKG H600 – which had its Geneva premiere a year ago.
It has earlier been revealed that the new Pininfarina HK GT super vehicle comes with two electric motors together capable of 800 hp. The manufacturer claims it only takes 2.9 seconds for the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph). An inbuilt micro-turbine power generator is provided as a range extender, allowing the vehicle to travel over 1,000 kilometers (~620 miles) before discharge.
