The first official
photos of a new generation off-road car appeared on the website in Hong Kong
and then were hastily deleted. That was done by mistake. However, we managed to
take screenshots of the images.
In the photos we
can see the modification X3 M40i. 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine Twin Turbo puts
the car in motion and supplies 360 horsepower and 500 Nm of the torque. It
works together with 8-graded automatic transmission combined with the all-wheel
xDrive. The acceleration from 0 up to 100 km/h of BMW X3 takes 4.8 seconds, the
maximum speed is 250 km/h. Fuel consumption rate is from 8.2 up to 8.4 liters
for 100 km of the way.
The producer
managed to obtain visual improvements due to smoother and softer lines of the
carriage body, the massive radiator grille, large air intakes in the front
bumper and the new two-element optics.
Moreover, the line
will be renewed with gasoline versions X3 xDrive20d, xDrive30d, xDrive20i,
xDrive30i and diesel ones X3 xDrive20d and xDrive30d.
The crossover BMW
X3 will make its debut at the special event in the headquarters of BMW in Spartanburg,
the United States,in June 26. The official presentation of the car will take
place at the motor show in Frankfurt in September, after that models sales will
start.
