The Valkyrie model is a joint project of the British company and team Red Bull. It has become known that the car will get a 6.5-liter aggregate V12, an electric motor and a system of recuperation of kinetic energy created with the application of Formula 1 race car technology. The engines will supply total capacity of 1130 horsepower. Valkyrie is based on a carbon fiber reinforced polymer chassis with a carboniferous structural skin due to which the car mass amounts to 1030 kg. Thus, the hypercar lays claim to be a champion in its class by correlation of power to mass. The maximum speed of the new car will amount to 402 km/h.
Apart from modification for common roads, an aerodynamically refined hypercar racing variant with adaptations is to be produced. It is to be used only for driving on a track.
The output of 150
road and track exemplars of Aston Martin Valkyrie is to be expected. The cost
of each of them is about 3 million dollars. All cars have already their owners and
they will get to them in 2019.
