There is a Festival of Speed – a large-scale racing event that goes on for four days straight – going on right now in Goodwood House, West Sussex, England. The event is attended by most major vehicle manufacturers and car enthusiasts.
Noble Automotive has come to the #gwfos with a new sportcar model named M500. The vehicle will enter production in 12 months and come equipped with the same V6 turbo engine as the U.S.-made pickup truck Ford F-150.
The power unit in question has 3.5 liters of displacement room and commands over 550 hp (410 kW). It is coupled with a semi-automatic dual-clutch transmission, despite the fact that its senior model – the M600 – ships with manual gear switching.
According to a representative of Noble Automotive, the new Noble М500 is primarily designed for comfort, rather than raw performance. To that end, it comes with an extended list of base equipment and options. It is also going to be priced a fair bit under the M600 and therefore be much more affordable.
The Noble М600 flagship is available in three trim levels: Coupe, CarbonSport and Speedster. Ironically, all three come driven by the same 4.4-liter V8 engine capable of nearly 670 hp (500 kW). The base trim sells for £300,000.
