Pininfarina unveils the all-electric H500 sedan

The Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina has revealed first teaser pics showing a brand-new, all-electric sedan model jointly developed with the Chinese HKG. The vehicle will enjoy its official premiere at the Beijing Automotive Exhibition in China opening in a few weeks.

If these images are any indicator, the new Pininfarina H500 looks a lot like the HK GT Concept that debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show earlier this year. In comparison to that one, it sports a redesigned radiator grille and new LED headlights.

On the inside, the driver of the new vehicle will take advantage of an all-digital dashboard with a large touchscreen located immediately below.

Pininfarina claims 1000 km driving range for their H500 sedan. Its acceleration performance isn’t being revealed so far, though. It bears mentioning that the HK GT Concept debuted with two electric engines with 800 hp total output and could accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds.
