The updated crossover was released specifically for the South Korean automotive market. Fresh Sorento acquired a changed appearance and another interior.
After the upgrade, the novelty has a modernized chrome grille, a slightly different rear bumper, new LED lights and modified fog lamps with four optical elements.
The engine range of the SUV will be presented by two Diesel engines of 2.0 and 2.2 liters capacity of 186 and 202 horsepower respectively and one 2.0-liter petrol engine generating 240 hp. Transmission will be the same one for all modifications - the newest 8-speed automatic. The manufacturer will offer Sorento with a 2WD and 4WD drive.
The flagship all-terrain 2018 model year in the cabin received new seats, a steering wheel and a transmission selector, as well as an advanced multimedia complex with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To all, the crossover got an impressive list of assistant assistants.
The car will be offered in a five- and seven-seater body. The cost of the updated Kia Sorento for the home market will start from 27,850,000 won. Will the all-terrain vehicle to other countries is not yet known.
