As part of the premiere of the serial electric car,
the company's management did not rep any details about the power, dynamics and
capacity of the new batteries. But the technical specifications of Tesla Model
3 still appeared on the Internet in the documents of the US Environmental
Protection Agency, which deals directly with testing and certification of cars.
So it became known that the Tesla Model 3 will receive
the top-end configuration of the Long Range with a 258-horsepower electric motor
and a set of batteries for 80.5 kilowatt-hours, which will allow traveling up
to 500 kilometers without recharging. The maximum speed of such an electric car
will be 255 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h will take 5.1 seconds.
The basic model Tesla Model 3 Standard received a
battery pack at 60 kWh with a power reserve of 350 kilometers. The electric
motor mounted on the rear axle will also remain 258-strong. Dial
the first "hundred" it will be in 5.6 seconds.
