After four years of not releasing new models, Chinese automaker Qoros has come out with an SUV called 7. Sales will begin in a few days.
The Qoros 7 is slightly larger than the Qoros 5 it is based upon, and boasts a large 16.6-inch vertical infotainment display similar to the Tesla screen. Another tablet-like screen represents the dashboard. Other notable interior features include a squared-off steering wheel and a glass sunroof.
The Qoros 7 ships with a choice between a turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 204 PS (150 kW) and another similar engine capable of 231 PS (130 kW). The transmission is semi-automatic in both cases.
The company hopes that the new model will rescue it from its dire financial situation caused by dismal sales of its previous models.
