Qoros showcases its Milestone Concept

When Chinese carmaker Qoros unveiled the Qoros 7 SUV last spring, it turned out to be just a stretched version of the Qoros 5. This weekend, however, it debuted a show car named Milestone, which has something resembling original design going on.

The vehicle is the direct successor to the conceptual 2018 Mile 1 and 2019 Mile II, but with its own “avant-garde design and emotional charm”. Its style is being described as “square aesthetic”. The company likens its headlights to classical painting frames.

Qoros recruited Fengyou (Peter) Gong to its Chief Designer position after his 20 years working for PSA Group China. He replaced Gert Hildebrand, who left Qoros for Bordrin Motor three years ago.

The company’s current lineup only consists of one production car – the rather dated Qoros 3 – but two all-new electric sedans should join it next year.
