H&R launches sport springs for the BMW X3 M40d xdrive

H&R, a manufacturer of automotive suspension parts, has released new sport-spec springs for the diesel-powered BMW X3 M40d xdrive. The new springs bring the SUV 15 mm (0.6”) closer to the ground in front and 30 mm (1.2”) in the back.

The upgrade improves the overall appearance of the bulky 4WD off-roader, as well as its drivability.

H&R claims that the new springs have excellent response while at the same time remaining soft enough to be comfortable even during long road trips. They also enable you to make sharp curves at higher speeds without too much side rolling.

Optionally available are Trak+ wheel spacers that can be used to align the wheels perfectly with their respective arches. An H&R spring set would set you back €253, while the spacers begin at €90.
