H&R lowering springs now available for the Alpine A110

In 2017, we learned that the French sports car Alpine A110 would be revived after 40 years of being out of production. Mere moments later, the entire 2,000-something “Première Edition” was sold out in pre-orders. Apparently, the company did not expect quite as much customer enthusiasm, since it eventually caved in to the demand and promised to produce more cars later.

In the meantime, those lucky enough to have received their very own copy of the Alpine A110 may now fit it with a suspension lowering kit H&R launched earlier today. Once installed, it brings the RWD vehicle 35 millimeters (1.4 inches) closer to the ground, thus enabling it to enter sharper turns at higher speeds. The new springs also recoil faster.

As usual, stiffer springs mean you will feel the minor road bumps more than you did before, but H&R assures there is not much perceived difference at all.

The full package costs €475. Consider simultaneously purchasing a set of Trak+ wheel spacers if you want your wheels perfectly aligned with their arches (€45/set).
