After a long period of waiting and teasers, Radford has finally shown us the inside of the Lotus Type 62-2. The photos reveal Bremont watch and timer on the dashboard, among other things.
Clients may request custom interior designs, so this is just one of the options. The overall impression is that of a retro car cabin with plenty of black leather and Alcantara on the seats and a naked gear lever.
Disrupting the period-correct atmosphere are carbon-fiber overlays on the a-pillars, door panels, steering wheel, floor, and center console. There are also three rather small displays inside, one in the middle and two at the sides acting as side mirrors. A magnetic plate is provided for your smartphone if you want navigation.
The Radford 62-2 comes in a few different trims to choose from. Classic has a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 rated at 437 PS (431 hp / 321 kW). Golf Leaf makes more than 500 PS (492 hp / 368 kW). John Player Special crowns the range with 600+ PS (590+ hp / 450+ kW).
