Angel Cardenas, TV reporter, was fired after his gross misbehavior at the Sacramento International Auto Show (USA). A live feed showed the man jumping on rare and valuable classic cars, slamming their doors and damaging them with no apparent realization of the consequences.
The camera operator filmed Cardenas as he jumped the fence and started climbing into cars, onto cars, and shouting comments like ‘No one is out here to tell me which car I can't go in’ and ‘I feel like a child in a candy store’. A few retro vehicles and a new Ford Explorer were damaged in the incident.
The viewers were outraged at the rampage, prompting the TV company to delete the footage from its website almost instantaneously – but not before it was copied all over the social networks. In the end, the management of the channel had to issue an official statement saying the reporter was fired. The story likely doesn’t end there and then, though, as multiple vintage car owners are currently filing lawsuits against Cardenas, asking for damages.
