The Italian brand ATS
(Automobili Turismo e Sport) presented the public with a new ultralight GT
model at the Salon Prive event in the UK, as the Autocar edition has reported.
The basis for the ATS GT was
a chassis made of carbon fiber and carbon fiber body panels. Under the hood of
the supercar twin-turbo V8 unit of 3.8 liters capacity of 650 horsepower, which
works in conjunction with a seven-stage robotic transmission with two clutches.
At the request of the customer, the engine can be forced to 700 "horses".
The high-performance coupe accelerates from 0to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, and
its maximum speed is more than 330 km/h.
The manufacturer has
prepared for the ATS GT three driving modes Viaggio, Sport and Corsa. With the
activation of each of them, the electronics change the settings of the power
vehicle, suspension, transmission and steering.
The cost of an exclusive
novelty is announced, it starts with a mark of 1.2 million dollars. The
circulation of the ATS GT will be limited to twelve models.
