The U.S. car maker Rezvani has took the veil off its latest creation, the Beast Alpha X Blackbird supercar. The vehicle’s name is an homage to the legendary U.S. spy plane Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
Rezvani’s fastest-going ride so far comes equipped with a 2.5-liter, 710-horsepower turbocharged engine developed from scratch. It can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds.
Owing to the generous use of composite materials throughout, the new Rezvani Beast Alpha X Blackbird weighs only 952 kilograms (~2,100 lbs.). It has sliding doors, a detachable roof, beautiful 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, carbon-fiber seats and composite brakes.
The company only plans to produce a total of 5 cars worth U.S. $225,000 each.
