The racing supercar,
introduced in 2015, became available for purchase. The Japanese company sells
the Honda NSX GT3 to private collectives taking part in competitions of the
corresponding category GT3. In the development of the car involved an old
partner of Honda - the Italian team JAS Motorsport.
The rear-wheel drive car was
quite lightweight, thanks to a completely carbon body. The total weight of the
coupe was approximately 1,250 kilograms.
Under the hood of the
supercar is a V6 engine with a dry crankcase and an aluminum cylinder head unit
of 3.5 liters, which is combined with a six-speed sequential XTrac
transmission. The dynamic characteristics of the machine are not yet known.
The list of equipment for
the racing version of the Honda NSX also includes brakes from Brembo,
six-piston front and four-piston rear, and a sports aerodynamic body kit with a
massive rear wing.
The cost of the Honda NSX
GT3 is 465,000 euros (545,000 dollars).
