The Spanish company SEAT, recently introduced the new version of the popular Ibiza hatchback and told about its plans for development of new sports crossover, which will become the budget analog of premium Porsche Macan.
The future innovation, most likely, will have at least two modifications with five and seven doors. Seat Head of Design Alejandro Mesonero declared, that the new Spanish crossover will represent "something different" and will become new flagman model of the company.
The debut of the model will be held only in three years. During this term SEAT will continue its work with electrical and hybrid power plants, which the future car will be equipped with.
The decision to issue the new crossover was made by Spaniards against the background of surge in popularity of crossovers around the world. At the moment the unique Ateca crossover is being assembled under the Seat brand, the premiere of one more model in the same segment Arona is expected for within this year.
