Seat announced the online presentation of a new generation of Ibiza hatchback. The model wil appear before the Internet audience next week, on January 31st.
Ibiza will be the first car in the history not only of the Spanish SEAT brand, but also of all Volkswagen Group, assembled on the MQB A Zero platform.
It is known that Volkswagens Polo and Skoda Fabia will soon be designed on this basis. The new base will allow to increase model dimensions, the interior will become more spacious at the same time .
The car will be equipped with the 1-liter turbocharged V3 motor (petrol and diesel). The exterior will be in many respects based on the design of the older Leon model. Higher-quality materials will be used for decoration.
Also there is a probability, that Ibiza family will soon be expanded with the compact crossover.
Unfortunately, you shouldn't wait for new model in Russia : the Spanish brand has left the country's car market two years ago and has no plans to return.
