Sin Cars to bring R1 550 supercar to 2018 Geneva show

The British car manufacturer Sin Cars has announced a major premiere to be held during the 88th Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland on March 8 through 18. It’s all about the new R1 550 hybrid supercar coming with a €219,000 price tag.

The new R1 550 comes with a hybrid drivetrain which includes a 6.2L V8 gasoline engine and an electric motor with 577 hp cumulative output. An optional supercharged engine will be offered as a high-end replacement of the regular naturally-aspirated one, bringing the performance further up to 811 hp.

In its standard version, the R1 550 can accelerate up to 350 km/h (217.5 mph) and sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds.

The R1 550 is based on tubular framework and has a lightweight carbon body which brings its total weight down to just 1,380 kilograms (~3,040 lbs.).
