Speedkore brings two restored sports cars to the California Roadster Show

Tuner Speedkore has come to the 2019 Grand National Roadster Show in California with two unique classical cars restored made relevant again thanks to extensive upgrades.

The first of these is a 1970 Dodge Charger Evolution that received brand-new carbon bodywork and now weighs in at as little as 1,451 kg (3,200 pounds). Even more notably, it comes driven by a modern Dodge Demon engine with 6.2 liters of displacement room. The tuner has actually managed to squeeze 966 horsepower (720 kilowatts) out of the V8 mill!

The engine is fitted onto a custom housing, and the suspension is now adjustable.  The car sits on forged HRE rims clad in Michelin Pilot Sport rubber.

The interior of the 1970 Dodge Charger Evolution by Speedkore sports a brown leather trim alongside a 14-point roll cage.

The other entry is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Famous actor Robert Downey Jr. commissioned the car for himself. It also sports a body mostly made out of carbon-fiber panels and comes driven by a 5.0 V8 supported by a Roush Stage II supercharger, Bowler T56 six-speed manual transmission, and a rear differential.

The interior of the restomodded vehicle contains Recaro seats and leather upholstery.

Speedkore neglected to mention any money-related specifics.
