Shelby American has come to the Paris International Motor Show with a whole army of tuned-up cars. One of these is the sports car named the Super Snake. European media met these with great enthusiasm: after all, you don’t often see a car like Ford Mustang on the streets in Europe.
The Shelby Super Snake uses the 2018 Ford Mustang platform and comes equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine capable of between 710 and 800 hp (530 – 600 kW), depending on the model. It accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in about 3.5 seconds.
The exhibited car sports a revised front fascia, a new radiator grille, a splitter, larger air intakes, a differently-styled hood cover and broader wheel arches.
Aside from the above, the company reports that this particular Shelby Super Snake features custom radiator, heat exchanger and half-shaft design alongside with Brembo brakes and lowered suspension.
