SWM, a Chinese car brand which is a part of Brilliance-Shineray group, has posted a teaser image of its third crossover model. It still has no name and goes by the provisional index S402.
No more official information regarding the car is available right now, but professionals speculate that it might be released as strictly front-driven. All-wheel drive has never been popular on the Chinese automotive market.
For reference, the company SVVM, which initially specialized in motorbikes, was founded by Piero Sironi and Fausto Vergani in Milan, Italy as early as 1971. Two V’s later merged into a W. The company had to close in 1984, but the brand was resurrected by Chinese-based Shineray Motorcycle in 2014.
