The network has the first teaser images and videos of the new, fifth-generation Hyundai Accent, which next week will be premiered at the International Auto Show in Toronto, Canada.
Hyundai Accent is rather popular in North America. Sales of this model reached record level against the background of general 3 percent decline in demand for minicars in 2016 in the USA. Accent yields only Nissan Versa in popularity in the States. In Canada, where the debut of new generation of the car will take place, the market of midget cars dicreased even by 13 percent last year, at the same time, sales reduction of Accent constituted only 1 percent, that speaks about great demand on the model among Canadian consumers.
Hyundai hopes to stop the drop in sales due to the new sedan design. Accent will change the exterior for the first time in six years. It is known that some elements of the body were borrowed from such models as Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai i30. The company promises to disclose all details on February 16.
