The mysterious two-seater car received its name from a national symbol of Singapore, Dendrobium orchid. The vehicle will become the first luxury sports car in the history of this small island state.
Vanda Electrics, which had already presented its concept of the auto truck on electropull-rod, worked on the development of the supercar. There also were involved the team engineers of the Formula 1 Williams Advanced Engineering. The company doesn't provide any detailed characteristics, but there are rumors that the power of the new car will make 1500 hp, at the same time Dendrobium will be able to disperse to the cherished hundreds in just 2.5 seconds.
It is noted that doors and a roof of the supercar can be opened simultaneously in "pathos, theatrical manner", which should probably be a reference to the orchid flower. In the production of the car there were used the most eco-friendly materials, that also completely suitable to the state policy of Singapore, the government of which is seriously anxious with ecology.
The Singapore Dendrobium's debut will take place in March within a showroom in Geneva.
